EZRA TAFT BENSON BUILDING:  

FACTS:  Groundbreaking was held in June of 1974 with construction completed a year later.  Elder Ezra Taft Benson,

President of the Quorum of the Twelve, dedicated the building in 1980.   Additions came in 1970-78 and 1982-83, with

additional classroom space created in 1988 and 1991.  A new addition to the east includes 25,000 square feet of new

classroom, lab and office space and 15,500 square feet of greenhouses.  Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the 

Twelve Apostles dedicated the addition February 24, 2004.
