| FACTS: Groundbreaking was held in early 1963, with the facility completed and dedicated the same year by Elder Marion G. Romney. It's facilities convert water into steam that is piped to various buildings for heat and hot water. The building was enlarged in 2001-2002. Gas boilers replaced coal-fire boilers. Old smokestack replaced with smaller, more earthquake proof stack, and the roof was replaced. |
