FACTS: Groundbreaking and naming were held in June of 1995 by Elder L. Tom Perry of the Council of the Twelve. The facility was completed in 1997 and dedicated by President James E. Faust of the First Presidency with Elder Henry B. Eyring of the Council of the Twelve in attendance. The Taylor Building houses the Departments of Religion and Humanities. It includes a chapel, cultural hall, classrooms, and offices.
