=t take time for your health today, you will have to make the time tomorrow. Join the Wellness Committee at the Health Fair tomorrow (Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the West Ballroom. Following is a list of services available: Personnel representatives will assist with insurance questions. Blood pressure, blood glucose and oxygenation checks will be measured by nursing students. Immunizations will be available from District 7 Health Dept.---bring your immunization record & plan to pay for the cost of immunizations such as hepatitis A or B or tetanus. Hepatitis B requires three injections over six months at $35 per dose. Hepatitis A immunizations and tuberculosis testing are $10 each. Physical exercise testing and demonstrations will be available from the PE department. Skin fold measurements will be done by a member of the Health Science department. A Health Risk inventory can be done for a $1 charge from the Extension Office. Hearing screening will be available from the Communication department. Nutrition, Safety, and Recreation information will be available at different locations. Dentistry, optometry, chiropractic, podiatry and physical therapy will be represented. Stress management and emotional wellness will be addressed by the Counseling and Psychology departments. Blood screening tests will be done from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., including complete blood counts, chemistry, cardiac risk, and prostrate screening at reduced rates. The chemistry & cardiac risk tests are most accurate if the participant has fasted overnight. DMBA will cover the cost every third year or participants may charge it. Community participants include: Family Crisis Center, massage therapists, American Cancer Society, AARP, American Diabetes Association, Rexburg Nursing Center, Home Health Agencies, Teton House Assisted Living, Madison Memorial Hospital, and a nutritional product line.
