Mindy Gledhill
with the Teton Chamber Orchestra

Friday, May 6
7:30 p.m., Kirkham Auditorium
Mindy Gledhill will perform her first concert with an orchestra at BYU-Idaho. Singing with the Teton Chamber Orchestra directed by Eric Wenstrom, she will perform several songs from her recent CD Anchor, including “Anchor,” “All About Your Heart” and “Circus Girl.” Mindy’s first album, The Sum of All Grace, proved to be an inspirational, faith-based endeavor—an artistic response to the challenges of being a wife, mother, student, and a spiritual being. Her effort resulted in two Pearl Awards (Best Inspirational Album, New Recording Artist) in 2005, followed by another Pearl Award (Best Inspirational Song) in 2006 for her contribution on a compilation album. Her second album, Feather in the Wind, explores a greater range of musical and vocal styles. RATING: Contemporary.
Tickets go on sale April 18. Cost is $12 for general public, $6 for BYU-Idaho students. No children under four.
