THE FINANCIAL AID DETERMINATION DATE FOR Winter 2012 SEMESTER IS    January 26, 2012

 

Pell grants are based on the number of credits you are registered for as of January 26, 2012.  We take a "snapshot" of the classes you are enrolled in as of that date.

 

Example:

If we paid you for 12 credits and you dropped to 10 credits, then we would reduce your award.

 

There will be no changes if after this date you:

  • Add 2nd block classes
  • Add full semester classes
  • Drop full semester classes

 

There may be an adjustment to your aid if you drop 2nd block classes after this date.

DEADLINES

The priority deadline for completing the Federal Financial Aid process for each semester is 2 months prior to the beginning of the semester. The guarantee date for Winter semester, 2012 is November 4th.  All requested information and documents must  be turned in by this date in order to receive Federal Financial Aid  by the tuition payment deadline. Those who do not have their Winter tuition and student university insurance paid in full by the tuition payment deadline will be subject to late fees.

 

You may still apply for Federal Student Aid, however, the money will not be in by the tuition payment deadline.
