BYU-Idaho Center Indoor Track
On January 7, 2011 distances were measured around each lane of the BYU-Idaho Center Indoor Track. Per NCAA Track & Field Rules standards, the inside lane is measured 30 centimeters (about 12 inches) from the rail. The other lanes are measured 20 centimeters (about 8 inches) from the seam between the two lanes. Given these standards, the inside lane is 279.0 meters, lane two 283.4 m, lane three 289.4 m, and lane four 295.4 m. The starting line locales assume a finish line at the seam underneath the digital clock.
