The EIS division oversees the application systems software on campus.  We are charged with exploring, analyzing, recommending, assisting, and implementing application systems to help the campus community.

Contributing to the mission of both BYU-Idaho and the IT Division by:

• Providing software technology support of the universities application systems, databases and users;

• Supporting the self-serving software applications using industry best-of-breed tools and practices;

• Ensuring the integrity of the universities databases through safeguard validation and security procedures; and

• Keeping abreast of emerging and changing technologies, by means of professional development, for the staff who learn and share.
