How to enter a ticket

 

  • Click on "IT Ticket" (on the menu to the left of this screen)
  • The Team Dynamix login screen will appear.  Sign In to Team Dynamix using your BYUI Net ID and your TD password
  • Click on "Ticket Requests" (on the left-hand side near the bottom of the screen)
  • Click on "Create a Ticket Request" left hand side under My Project Requests
  • Fill out all the necessary fields in the ticket request form and click Save

 

What Happens To My Request?

 

Your request will now be evaluated by an IT analysist.  Estimated hours and any other pertinent information will be entered.

 

If your request is deemed a Maintenance request, a VP or their designee will approve (or deny) it and rank it.  IT completes the work based on the rank.

 

If your request is deemed a Large Project request, IT will convert the Ticket into a Project Request. 

  • A VP or their designee will enter Risk, Scorecard, and Benefits, then mark the request as "Current Evaluation Completed". 
  • IT enters Resources and marks the request "Evaluation Complete"
  • Next your project request is placed before President's Executieve Group for a decision and a priority listing. 

 

When the President's Executive Group approves the request, IT converts the request into a project, and the work is completed. 

 

Reports will be provided each week to increase visibility of Maintenance and Large Projects.
