Welcome To Portfolio Management
Portfolio Management will help the university to effectively manage IT resources and deliver IT solutions in a more timely fashion.
Benefits of the process include:
- Improved IT alignment with University strategies.
- IT resources are more efficiently managed.
- Provide the President's Council more insight into, and oversight of IT resources.
- Improved IT output and performance.
- Help the University to prioritize IT projects.
IT initiatives and services are divided into six Accounts along organizational lines. Vice Presidents serve as Account Owners and determine the validity and priority of requests from their areas of stewardship.
IT personnel are authorized to work only on approved projects and record their work hours against appoved project tasks.
