A department of Information Technology
A/V Services designs, installs, and repairs the TEC (teaching stations) in classrooms and other audio visual systems and miscellaneous equipment around campus. These systems include such equipment as video projectors, DVD players, VCRs, video screens, control systems, speakers, cabling, amplifiers, video displays, two-way radios, and miscellaneous electronic equipment.
Contributing to the mission of both BYU-Idaho and the IT Division by:
- Installing and maintaining A/V systems in classrooms and other areas that are cost-effective and fit the needs of the students, instructors, and the campus community.
- Providing quality service in a timely manner.
- Improving the interaction between teachers and students through audio visual means.
