Thomas E. Ricks Building
Dedicated in 2005, the Thomas E. Ricks Building is named for the founder of the pioneer academy that would eventually become BYU-Idaho. The building houses offices and classrooms for the Departments of Geography, History, International Studies, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology and Social Work. The adjacent Thomas E. Ricks Gardens include a horticulture research area, picnic structure, reception area, test gardens, fruit tree orchard, flowerbeds, and a native garden.
