As stated in the Employee Information and Training Program, section of this written Hazard Communication program employees must be informed of the hazards associated with non-routine tasks and of the hazards of chemicals in unlabeled pipes. Even if you do not include this information in your Employee Information and Training Program, the method you will use to inform employees of these two types of hazards must be included in the written Hazard Communication Program. When the checklist is completed, you may want to keep it on file for future reference. [ ] Compile a Hazardous Chemicals Inventory and turn it into the Safety Office. [ ] Understand the policies and fill in the blanks contained in the written Hazard Communication Program for your department [ ] Be sure your work area is in compliance with these policies. [ ] Keep a complete copy of the Hazardous Chemicals Inventory in the appropriate department or work area and insure its accessibility to employees.
