One of the most commonly asked questions by students is, what type of jobs are available to people with sport administration degrees. In general, the sport industry is divided in commonly recognized segments, including, but not limited to, professional sport, intercollegiate athletics, voluntary athletic associations such as the NCAA and high school athletic associations, recreational sport, facility management, event management, promotions and marketing, health and fitness, and sporting goods retail operations just to name a few. The College of Business and Communications is taking a group of students to the Intermountain Sports and Entertainment Career Fair February 17, 2009. Many members of SPAD are going to be attending. This will be a great chance for students to meet with representatives from many of the different sports organizations in the Salt Lake area.
