Continuing Endorsement Schedule Changes

Q: If I am a fall/winter student should I still obtain an endorsement this semester?

A: No. Even if it has been a year since receiving your last Continuing Ecclesiastical Endorsement, wait until the semester you have been assigned under the new process.

Q: I have been accepted to the Fast Grad program, when should I complete my endorsement?

A: The Continuing Ecclesiastical Endorsement schedule is based on students’ original track assignments. Fast Grad students should complete their endorsement during the semester appropriate to their original track.

Q: Does the new endorsement process apply to students who have missed more than one semester?

A: No. Students who have missed more than one semester must reapply for admission to the university. Requirements for an ecclesiastical endorsement are covered in Part Three of the admission application.

Q: I think I am supposed to get an ecclesiastical endorsement this semester, but there is no hold on my record. Should I complete an endorsement anyway?

A: No. Only students who have a hold on their record are required to complete an endorsement. Students who complete an endorsement when they are not required to may be asked to obtain another endorsement the following semester.

Q: I am off track; can I use the electronic endorsement process?

A: No. Students may only complete the endorsement process while they are on track.
