Address members of the Quorum of the Twelve as Elder not Apostle. Address members of the Presidency of the Seventy and members of the First and Second Quorums of the Seventy as Elder. Address members of Area Presidencies as Elder. Do not use the term President. In text, address past Patriarchs of the Church (not stake patriarchs) as Elder. Address emeritus members of the first Quorum of the Seventy as Elder. Address Area Authority Seventies as Elder. Address male missionaries in the mission field as Elder.
