Expandable Navigation Menu

The purpose of an expandable menu is similar to a drop-down menu. They hide unnecessary links to keep the web page uncluttered. This is especially good if you have lots of links on your website. Here is a simple example of an expandable menu:

  • Collapse

    Heading

    • Link1
    • Link2
    • Link3
  • Collapse

    Heading

    • Link4
    • Link5
    • Link6
  • Collapse

    Heading

    • Link7
    • Link8
    • Link9

To make your navigation menu expandable do the following:

  1. Open your default page in the Web Editor
  2. Change the "Expandable Menu" field above the left column to "On"
  3. Select all the headings/subheadings and links you want to make expandable
  4. Press the "unordered list" (bulleted list) button so that they are in the same list (See Box A)
  5. Select just the link(s) below the first heading and push the indent button (See Box B)
  6. Repeat step 5 for the remaining sections (See Box C)
  7. Save and Preview
