Instructions for BYUI-WIFI wireless 

 

For campus buildings with a wireless HotSpot:

 

Windows XP & Windows Vista

  1. Right click the computer icon (wireless icon) near the clock in the bottom right hand corner
  2. Click View Available wireless Networks
  3. Double Click BYUI-WIFI
  4. Open your Internet Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer/Firefox)
  5. You will be forwarded to a login page.  Enter your NetID and password to gain access.

 

Mac OS X

  1. Turn the AirPort on: Click the Turn Airport Off icon in the Menu Bar, then select Turn Airport On. 
  2. Once the AirPort is turned on Turn Airport On click the icon again and select BYUI-WIFI.Open your Internet Browser (i.e. Safari/Firefox)
  3. You will be forwarded to a login page.  Enter your NetID and password to gain access.
