Achieving maturity in mathematical communication. Topics include introduction to mathematical proof, analysis of proof, set theory, mathematical induction, logical reasoning and elementary number theory. |

This course is dedicated to teaching proof writing. Numerical computations are rare. No calculator is needed. Rigorous logical reasoning is employed to prove theorems. |
