| OBJECTIVES: | This course is designed to provide the student with the basic musical tools to more accurately appreciate, analyze, discuss, and perform any given piece of music reflecting the periods and genres studied. Examples of each musical genre will be studied in detail, both through scores and aural recordings, as a model of how to approach other works of the same period and style. | ||
