| OBJECTIVES: | 1. To prepare the Elementary Education major to teach earth science in the classroom. 2. To introduce General Education students to the basic principles of geology, meteorology, and astronomy. 3. To help students experience science as it relates to their surrounds. 4. To get students excited about teaching science and creating interest in grade school students to learn about the science of the earth. |
