OBJECTIVES: Awareness of music literature specific to a discipline is developed somewhat within the student's own applied music requirements either from lessons or masterclasses. However, most of this has been in regards to the student's own needs and ability. In order for a teacher to be highly successful, tools for teaching in numerous situations must be available. Students in Woodwind Literature Seminar learn pedagogical applications for standard solo and chamber repertoire.
