|DESCRIPTION:||This course is designed to be a survey class covering all aspects of physics. Some of the areas studied in the course include mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics. The course is designed for students majoring in non-scientific disciplines as part of their General Education curriculum. The course will give students a background in physics that will help them better appreciate and understand the technological advances that are transforming society.

|OBJECTIVES:||The primary objective of this course is to give students a knowledge and understanding of fundamental physical truths. The second objective of the course is to show how an understanding of these physical truths can be used to develop devices, structures, and technologies that are useful for mankind. The third objective of the course is to help students develop problem-solving skills that will be beneficial to them in their careers.

Exams, Every 6 chapters there will be an exam.
Attendance, will not be graded, however, if you miss class you miss material covered.
