CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course is the second sequence of algebra and trigonometry based Applied Physics. Concurrent registration of PH 106L is strongly recommended.
DESCRIPTION: Second of sequence to Applied Physics.
TOPICS: Topics include electricity and magnetism, optics, relativity, atomic and nuclear physics and astronomy.
OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this class is to develop an understanding of the basic principles and concepts of physics.
REQUIREMENTS: Homework and exams with a comprehensive final.
PREREQUISITES: Prerequisite: Physics 105
Concurrent Registration: Physics 106L strongly recommended check with advisor.Math Level: Extensive use of high school Algebra II and Trigonometry.
