CATALOG DESCRIPTION: To expowe students to principles and practices of effective coaching.
DESCRIPTION: This class is designed to expose the students to the principles and practices of effective coaching without addressing any particular sport. The focus is on the coach as a person who must deal with many tasks, responsibilities, and problems that arise in the coaching profession.

OBJECTIVES: 1. Develop a sound coaching philosophy
2. Understand the student athlete and techniques of team leadership and interaction

6. Develop a grasp of individual strengths and weaknesses
