| OBJECTIVES: | Obtain a basic working knowledge of special relativity, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics. Also gain exposure to applications of these principles in lasers, superconductors, and particle physics. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Tests, homework assignments from textbook and presentations on applied modern physics. | ||
| PREREQUISITES: | Math 113, Physics 121, 123 Concurrent Registration: (or completion of) Ph 220 Math Level: Extensive use of college algebra, trigonometry, and elementary calculus. |
