| DESCRIPTION: | Advanced Physics Laboratory for Physics and Physics Education Majors. Topics covered include vacuum systems, experimental design, Fourier analysis and other mathematical modeling techniques, computer interfacing. | ||
| TOPICS: | Topics may include Vacuum systems, x-ray diffraction, Fourier analysis, experimental design, modeling physical systems. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | Teach students basic physics experimental tools including: mathematical modeling, analyzing and testing physical systems, real life problem solving skills. This course will reinforce fundamental physics topics studied in advanced physics courses through laboratory experience. It will also teach use of lab equipment, lab safety and technical communication skills | ||
