CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Advanced physics course about the physical principles that govern some of the function of the body and the principles that describe the physics behind some instruments used to help us observe how the body works.
DESCRIPTION: An introductory acoustics course emphasizing applications of the physical principles underlying the function of body and/or the instrumentation needed to observe it.
TOPICS: Will include selections from physical principles of body functions and physical principles of medical instrumentation
OBJECTIVES: Seek to help students apply their background to increase their understanding of body functions, and the instruments used to observe them.
REQUIREMENTS: Students will be evaluated with several of the following: exams, projects, papers, presentations, or homework assignments. Some faculty may also require regular preparation assignments, quizzes, or synthesis summaries.
PREREQUISITES: Completion of Ph 121, 123, 150, 220, 250, Math 315.
