CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Course explores some of the similarities between physics and aspects of business.
DESCRIPTION: Course explores some of the similarities between physics and aspects of business. This may include similarities in modeling systems as well as similarities in solving problems and in the tools used to solve problems.
TOPICS: Topics may include statistical analysis, finding equilibrium in systems, financial and economic modeling, marketing, and organizational theory.
OBJECTIVES: To show students that many of the tools and ideas that they have developed by studying physics can be applied in the field of economics, marketing, organizational management and other aspects of business.
REQUIREMENTS:
PREREQUISITES: Senior level Physics major and completed majority of Business core
