TOPICS: Atmosphere, Temperature, Heat, Heat Transfer, EM Spectra, Greenhouse effect, Seasons, Humidity, Fog, Clouds, Precipitation, Wind, El Nino, Air Masses, Fronts, Forecasting, Thunderstorms, Lightning, Tornadoes, Hurricanes
OBJECTIVES: To help students learn about the physics of the lower atmosphere and about the energy relationships as weather occurs. To learn the basic cloud formations and how storms form and their characteristics.
REQUIREMENTS: Text: Meteorology Today. A quiz each class period to enhance overall score. No grade on attendance but performance of overall participation of class.
