CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course examines case law as it relates to constitutional liberties or court police procedures.
DESCRIPTION: A study of 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th amendments as they relate to police conduct.
TOPICS: Search and seizure, wire tapping, covert operations, lineups, exclusionary rule
OBJECTIVES: Students will understand the relationship between the Bill of Rights, Supreme Court and police procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: 3 mid term exams and essay
PREREQUISITES: Introductory courses should have been completed before enrollment.
