CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Using documents or original records of various countries to identify and submit their names for temple ordinances.
DESCRIPTION: Show students how to do research using various sources which contains genealogical type information. These sources are original records and go beyond the compiled Family Search sources taught in Rel 261. Some time is spent on temple submission and compiling family history.
TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: To help students learn how to do family history research on their ancestors, and what to do with the information after they have gathered it.
REQUIREMENTS: Attendance, exams and research project on family lines.
PREREQUISITES: Rel 261, or competancy with PAF, or consent of instructor.
