|OBJECTIVES:||This course is designed to help students improve their knowledge of theory and ability in the interpersonal communication process. The students will be doing exercises where they can see the different processes working. The lessons learned in class can not be made up by a simple reading of the text. Students will not become an expert communicator in one semester, but this class will give the student tools to continually work toward more effective communication with family, friends, colleagues and self.|
|REQUIREMENTS:||The grade received will be determined by the amount and quality of work the student chooses relating to the following requirements: Attendance, Reading, Tests/Quizzes, Out-of-class assignments, Attitude.|
|PREREQUISITES:||This is an Honors section. To enroll in any Honors class you need to have at least a 3.5 GPA.|
|OTHER:||COMM 150 and COMM 150H fill General Education and Communication major requirements.
