CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Discussion of current problems and examination of latest developments and trends in agricultural business. A survey of occupational opportunties in the agribusiness field. This course will give students the opportunity to study for and take the crop consultant examination, which covers all agronomic areas, i.e., soils, crop production, irrigation practices; pesticide application, and environmental concerns.

TOPICS: Writing job descriptions and job titles. Resume writing. Letter of application. Application for employment. Personal interviews. Study for and take the crop consultant examination that will cover all agronomic areas
OBJECTIVES: To help the student successfully write resumes, properly fill out job applications and prepare for job interviews. To help the student as they leave school to more easily enter the job market.
