CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course provides future teachers with a knowledge of the historical events, philosophies, and theories that have helped build American education; fosters in them an understanding of their own personal teaching philosophy; and encourages them to develop the wisdom to follow the Savior as they strive to become Master Teachers.

TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: This course is designed to provide pre-service teachers with a philosophical foundation for all their future teacher education studies.

PREREQUISITES: Education majors only. Completion of 15 university credits.
