TOPICS: Ecological processes, energy flow, mineral cycling, water cycling, biological state of plants, warm season, cool season grasses, overgrazing, management intensive grazing, carbohydrate root reserve, managing through drought, economics of grazing.
OBJECTIVES: Teach students the art of observation. To study the ecological process and how through proper grazing management enhance over all health of land. Study the economic advantage of proper management intensive grazing.
