CATALOG DESCRIPTION: To teach basic skills, fundamentals and techniques of bowling.
DESCRIPTION: This class is designed to teach the basic skills, fundamentals and techniques required to bowl effectively; to develop a sufficient level of physical fitness and skill level in each participation to allow them to engage in the activity with proficiency
TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: 1. Learn to bowl with proper skills and fundamentals
2. Develop proper form
3. Acquire a knowledge of the rules, etiquette, customs and equipment
4. Develop a knowledge of bowling terminology
5. Learn spot bowling techniques
6. Learn to score properly
7. Be placed on a team and compete in a league
8. Develop self-esteem and respect for others.
9. Control emotions and temper
10. Develop skills to teach rules, fundamentals, and strategies of bowling
11. Develop and exhibit social skills
