| CATALOG DESCRIPTION: | Course developed to expose art majors to a variety of contemporary artists and designers. | ||
| DESCRIPTION: | A guest artist program designed to introduce students to a variety of artists and designers. Students are encouraged to interact with the artist during a question and answer session. Usually four to six guest artists are invited each semester. | ||
| TOPICS: | Artists from a cross section of the arts and from a variety of locations will present their work to the students. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | This course is designed to introduce students to new ideas and methods that will compliment their classroom studies through their interaction with the guest artists. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Attendance at all seminars and submission of report sheet for each. Make-up work may be arranged for extenuating circumstances. | ||

| OTHER: | Four semesters are required. It is recommended that three Art Seminars be taken during the freshman- and sophomore-level years. | ||
