CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Survey and application of various techniques of traditional transparent watercolor painting.

TOPICS: This course will begin with exercises that will acquaint the student with basic control of watercolor and brush manipulation.
OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this course is for the student to become familiar with the techniques and processes of achieving visual pictorial images in the Aquarius medium. This course will begin with exercises that will acquaint the student with basic control of watercolor and brush manipulation.
REQUIREMENTS: Preparation is very important. At each class session preparation points will be given. It is very important that you are prepared at the final critique of each assignment. Work turned in on time for the last critique of that assignment will be considered for full credit.
PREREQUISITES: Art 110 and Art 115. Art majors only or consent of instructor.
