| CATALOG DESCRIPTION: | Students will complete self-directed photographic projects, and work on strategies for success as fine art and practical photographers. | ||
| DESCRIPTION: | Students will design their own photographic projects and have the opportunity to explore an area of interest in depth. | ||
| TOPICS: | Resumes, grants, juried exhibitions, internship opportunities, and graduate school. We will also discuss articles, peer work, and the work of contemporary photographers. We will travel to galleries/studios. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | 1) Completion of self-directed photographic project. 2) Understand strategies to succeed as fine art and practical photographers. 3) Gain a greater understanding of the world of contemporary fine-art photography. |
