OBJECTIVES: To provide students with an understanding of the evolution and characteristics of mammals; to explore structure, function, behavior, and ecology of mammals in their various taxonomic subdivisions.
REQUIREMENTS: At least one field trip required; students will keep a field notebook, have periodic writing assignments, and take lecture and lab exams.
