CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Required for all business management majors. Recommended also for non-business students interested in gaining an overview of business management, marketing, accounting, human resource management, and small business entrepreneurship.
DESCRIPTION: An overview of all functions of business, including human resource management, production, marketing, accounting, finance, and international business. Exposure to principles applicable in both small and big business settings. Designed to give the student exposure to the various career opportunities in business.

OBJECTIVES: Understand the role of business in the economic and social development of the community, nation and the world. Be familiar with the different forms of business enterprise. Learn common business terms (jargon) for each functional area of business. Develop a set of personal business career options. Receive instruction on business management as a major and have fun learning about business.
