|TOPICS:||Classical physical chemistry experiments, including calorimetry, kinetics, and electrochemistry. Application of a variety of instrumental techniques.|
|OBJECTIVES:||· Develop experience using classical physical chemistry experimental techniques.
· Develop experience using modern instrumental methods.
· Understand basic principles of instrumentation.
· Critically evaluate experimental data.
· Incorporation of sound data acquisition and critical data analysis into lab report preparation
|REQUIREMENTS:||Typically 10 laboratory experiments including laboratory report for each.|
|PREREQUISITES:||Completion of or concurrent enrollment in Chem 462|
