Working closely with an experienced professional in facilitating the Lead Teacher and Support Teacher's efforts in the preschool labs. The Supervisor is a team leader with responsibility for staff development, in-service training, parent communication, budgets, records and overall running of preschool labs. |

Preschool Budgeting, Working with Parents, Evaluating Student Teacher Planning and Performance, Student Inservice Training, and Facility/Resource Management and Maintenance |
| OBJECTIVES: |
Students will supervise student staff working in campus preschool lab facilities, work with parents of children, control a small operating budget, oversee lab facilities and equipment maintenance, and insure that lab program meets NAEYC accreditation standards.

| REQUIREMENTS: |
Students will prepare and conduct preschool parent orientation meeting. They will teach five inserve lessons for lab students staff, observe students and complete formative and summative evaluations of lab staff.

| PREREQUISITES: |
CHILD 260, HS 222 or current first aid/CPR certificate, concurrent enrollment in CHILD 290R, and consent of instructor. |
