| CATALOG DESCRIPTION: | Preparatory practicums in advertising, broadcasting, journalism, organizational, public relations and online. Prepares students for work with department's media and communication organizations. | ||
| DESCRIPTION: | Supervised work on a variety of communication-oriented, volunteer, or service-oriented projects applying interpersonal, speech and rhetoric, organizational, and general communication principles. | ||
| TOPICS: | Out-of-class experiences. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | This class allows those in interpersonal, speech, organizational, small group, advertising, public relations, journalism and broadcasting to apply the information learned in class to real-life experiences. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Students will fulfill the 16 hours of practicum experience and prepare a presentation to be given at the end of the semester. | ||
| PREREQUISITES: | COMM 100. Communication major or minor or consent of Instructor. | ||
