GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Preparatory practicums in advertising, broadcasting, journalism, organizational, public relations and online. Prepares students for work with department's media and communication organizations.
DESCRIPTION: Supervised work on a variety of communication-oriented, volunteer, or service-oriented projects applying interpersonal, speech and rhetoric, organizational, and general communication principles.
TOPICS: Out-of-class experiences.
OBJECTIVES: This class allows those in interpersonal, speech, organizational, small group, advertising, public relations, journalism and broadcasting to apply the information learned in class to real-life experiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Students will fulfill the 16 hours of practicum experience and prepare a presentation to be given at the end of the semester.
PREREQUISITES: COMM 100. Communication major or minor or consent of Instructor.
OTHER: May be repeated for credit.
