CATALOG DESCRIPTION: For beginners with an emphasis on partner dances in a social setting (waltz, swing, cha cha, foxtrot, polka).
DESCRIPTION: A course designed to develop skills of social dancing. The following five dances will be taught: waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, swing (various styles) and polka.
TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: Develop a proficiency in beginning level American style ballroom dancing.
REQUIREMENTS: Class attendance and participation is required. Practical and written evaluations and final exam.
