OBJECTIVES: The students will be introduced to the following CNC methods:
• Manual G&M code programming on a EMCO 120P lathe.
• CNC/G&M code programming on a HAAS VFO machining center.
• CAM programming with MasterCam software.
• Tool selection and sequencing for both lathe and mill.
• Machining parameters (cutting, speed, feeds, and infeeds).
• Tooling selection and design (fixtures).

Particularly if a laboratory session is missed the student must check with the instructor before running any of the laboratory equipment.
