CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Sketching, blue print, and welding symbol interpretation; plate and pipe layout measurement; bills of materials; dimensioning, notes and specifications, and abbreviations used in fabrication. Welding techniques, principles, theory, and practices used in repair and maintenance of equipment. Includes brazing, bronze welding, arc welding, carbon arc gouging, flux core arc welding, and surfacing and its alloys.

TOPICS: This course covers a variety of subjects: Blue print reading and sketching for welders, and repair and maintenance welding.
