| OBJECTIVES: | Students will: 1. Demonstrate and apply layout and design principles in a variety of media. 2. Demonstrate proper use of emphasis, contrast, balance, alignment, repetition, flow, images, and color in all work. 3. Demonstrate appropriate use of typography concepts and principles in a variety of media. 4. Implement appropriate file formats for graphics and documents and practice integration of media types. 5. Develop and implement business documents with developed branding symbols. 6. Demonstrate proficiency using a variety of applications including: Draw, Chart, TextArt, WordArt, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Publisher and word processing software. 7. Demonstrate proficiency using layering, slicing, shadowing, graphic mapping, and additional enhancements using PhotoShop and other applications. 8. Identify and use other resources that can be implemented in a business environment. |
