| TOPICS: | The Greek version of the course includes the following topics: the Minoan Mycenaean Age; the Age of Homer; Archaic Greece; the Persian Wars; the Athenian Empire. We read Homer and Plato's "Apology of Socrates"; we also read about Ancient Greek Religion and a few of the "lives" of Plutarch. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | We are interested in developing student reading, research and study skills as well as critical thinking skills requisite to the study of history. | ||
